Hypnosis is a natural state of deep focus and heightened awareness – similar to meditation. In this relaxed state, your brain enters theta brainwaves, making you more open to positive suggestions. You remain fully in control at all times.
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis. It’s a guided process where a trained practitioner (like me) uses hypnosis to help you access your subconscious mind, uncover root causes of challenges, and replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones.
In short: hypnosis is the state; hypnotherapy is the therapy that uses that state. Both are safe, natural, and you are always in control.
Each session is 90–120 minutes to hold space for you to fully engage. You can choose to sit or lie down comfortably.
We’ll start by using relaxation techniques (“inductions”) to help you enter a relaxed state. Once you’re at ease, we’ll discuss your current concerns, and together we’ll explore the root of the issue using guided visualization.
Sessions incorporate energy clearing to identify old patterns. We’ll work to remove mental/emotional blocks and replace them with healthier ways of living. Throughout the session, you remain conscious and in control.
Afterward, you’ll likely feel wonderfully relaxed and empowered, with increased self‑love and confidence. You’ll receive a recording of the session and affirmations to reinforce the positive changes.
Together, we’ll equip you with new practices and resources to manage stress, embrace change, and address core issues in your daily life.
You are always in control and fully aware. When you’re in a session, you become more open to positive suggestions, but you can stop the session at any time – simply by bringing yourself out of the relaxed state, just like easing out of a meditative state.
As an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, I’ve undergone extensive training, including a 284‑hour clinical internship in Heart‑Centered Hypnotherapy and additional clinical hypnosis training.
