Dr. Maame-Mensima Horne, ND, ACHt, CMT and Reiki Master earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. She is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor in California, a trauma-informed Certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Certified Yoga Teacher.

Naturopathic Doctors complete a 4-year graduate level medical education at one of the accredited naturopathic medical schools in North America. Naturopathic Doctors complete two years of clinical internship focused on naturopathic primary care. To be licensed, Naturopathic doctors complete two board exams and fulfill annual continuing education requirements. 

Yes. Stand alone appointments can be made for bodywork or energy healing sessions.  Clinical Hypnotherapy and Naturopathic care require an initial consultation. 

We do not take insurance. We can provide a superbill after your visit for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. PPO insurance plans often provide reimbursement for “out of network” providers. We recommend you confirm that your insurance company provides coverage for naturopathic care. We do take HSA and FSA.

We ask for a 24-hour notice for changes to appointments and of cancellations. Missed appointments or cancelations with less than 24-hours prior to the appointment will result in a cancellation fee  in the amount of 50% of the visit, or a no-show fee in the amount of the full charge of the visit. To avoid cancellation fees, please cancel Monday appointments by the end of day on Friday. As a small business, we appreciate your cooperation.
