Dr. Maame-Mensima Horne utilizes her training in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, Naturopathic Counseling, Reiki and Therapeutic Yoga to support the patient to address mental, emotional, and spiritual concerns and trauma that contribute to physical disease. She began studying mind body therapies 2009 when she co-facilitated Self Help Workshops for advocacy organizations. In 2013 she began teaching Yoga and Mindfulness practices in after school programs. She continues to share Mind Body Medicine all ages and has incorporated clinical hypnotherapy and Reiki as tools for self-regulation and healing.

Hypnotherapy

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy sessions are integrative sessions that incorporate regression therapy (age, past life, birth/pre-natal regressions) with Soul Retrieval, Reiki and Higher Self Connections.

Mind Body Counseling

Mind Body Counseling sessions utilize breath, visualization, meditation and somatic therapies to manage stress, release tension and heal trauma. Sessions are conducted during 55 minute naturopathic follow up visit.

Reiki and Energy Healing

Reiki, a Japanese healing therapy, taps into the ancient wisdom of vital life force energy (‘Rei’ – universal, and ‘Ki’ – life force). Reduce stress and balance your chakras (energy centers within the body) with this hands-on touch based therapy.

During the initial session, we’ll take a bit more time, typically about 90 minutes. You can choose to sit or lie down comfortably.

We’ll start by using relaxation techniques, known as “inductions,” to help you enter a relaxed state. Once you’re at ease, we’ll discuss your current concerns, and together, we’ll explore the root of the issue using guided visualization.

Identifying old patterns, we’ll work to remove any blocks and replace them with healthier ways of living and experiencing life. Throughout the session, you’ll remain conscious and in control.

Afterward, you might feel wonderfully relaxed and empowered, with increased self-love and confidence. To support your progress, you’ll receive a recording of the session and affirmations to reinforce the positive changes.

You are always in control and fully aware! When you’re in a session, you become more open to positive suggestions, but rest assured, you can stop the session anytime simply by bringing yourself out of the relaxed state – just like easing out of a meditative state.

As an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, I’ve undergone extensive training, including a 284 hours clinical internship in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy and additional Clinical Hypnosis training. Your well-being is my top priority, I approach each session with utmost compassion, listening attentively to the deeper revelations of your mind, body, and spirit.
